REAL ROLL BAR

I know a while back there was a thread about a roll bar but now I am talking real roll bar.[/i]
I am thinking of putting a heavy duty, head height roll bar similar to a dune buggy.
there is not very many tractors with this around and it might look funny, but I am seriously considering it for safety reasons especially after I lifted it.
Please leave suggestions here cyclops

I have considered this too. The best and safest way to do it IMO would be to use 1x2" rectangular tube. Make a subframe on the exterior of the frame, bolted in 4-5 spots each side with gr8 bolts. Then weld your ROPS uprights to that subframe, and add a few more gr8 bolts every 3-4" of contact to the frame. Then build your cage, adding small gussets to the main structure.

Don't forget a seat belt with a ROPS or the ROPS becomes dangerous.
