Mightyraze's "Sasquatch II" [2017 Build-Off Entry] [Finalist]

I burned the last one on pretty well.

Look what is on it's wheels.  Took a stroll down the block and back.  Needed an adjustment on the drag link.  I ended up back with the old one.  LOL



No play whatsoever now with this setup.  With it testing well, guess what!  Time to paint!  Disassemble!!


Got some paint thrown on.

Now to work on those little things I want to do!

Sorry to spam, but looking at the previous post with some after shots.  I see I am actually running on the tops of the tires now and not the inner or outer edge like I use to.  

Note the greyed section in the tread on the front tires.

Rides pretty good!  It's a bit stiff, but not like a rock.

I'll get a tank back on.  I didn't like the old "cheezy puffs" tank.  LOL

You gotta get a shot from the side so we can see the front end lift man!

I'll see what I can do tomorrow! I might be able to get a shot in the garage tonight. I'll check in a few.

Looks like a gasser with the front up and those rear rims.

That's the goal. I'm trying to source some non-tractor parts for some "accessories" that I hope to install.

love the stance of this beast, maybe some wheelie bars for good measure, would look a treat and maybe a foxtail mounted to an aerial. still pondering where you can hang the dice though.

Your killin me.... LOL I have actually thought of all the above. LOL! I have the dice figured out already, just need to find the right ones.

Gotta put a Hurst T-handle shifter and a big square shifter boot on 'er as well mighty! Maybe some ladder bars to keep the 633 in its place when those big paws grab pavement. And a big round tach on top of the dash. Man, you better start writing this stuff down!! Hahaha.

LOL, I think that may be a little overboard. :-) The velocity thing we talked about earlier didn't look right. I scrapped that idea.

Oh yeah? Oh well, you'll think of something else for that.

Finally finished up the framework for the front of the tractor. It needed this one last piece to square it off. It also makes a great mounting point for a new fo-tank.

Well, I had company this weekend, and I was showing off the Squatch, and wouldn't you know it. I broke the cable clip I made for the brakes. Man I had used that a million times now with no issue. While the Wife's were away, he and I tore the top end of the Squatch off and proceeded to fix it. LOL. We were going to reproduce the part, when I realize we could make it better and stronger with 1 inch square tube I had. I cut it up and we re-installed! I didn't get any pictures of the teardown and rebuild of this part as it was spur of the moment and I didn't have my phone.

Below is the broken part and the new one in place. I still need a "fine" adjustment still, but it works great.




Guess this is a good case of break and make it better.

Well, I got my jam nut on the correct side now. I also added a few stickers, and some decorative items. I have decided to keep the scoop I have. I'm working another item now and hope to reveal for the final time by the end of the month. That gives me two months to decide to do it over. LOL.

oh, and also start promoting it a bit on Facebook too. LOL
