More than likely, yes, it will probably be a requirement.

I'm entering a murray select I have been building for 2 months at the moment

We are here for the fourth year in a row, where the ATLTF 2017 build off is about to begin once again. On the computer monitor behind me you can see some various ideas for entries and things of that nature starting to take shape. Right now we are still a few weeks away from the start but there have been some rumors of some more expensive, technical builds that could possibly be in contention this year. We're really expecting a record number of entries for the build off this season and hopefully I'm sure, a record number of finishers. In a week or so here we should also be able to see the 2017 build off promotional video which is usually pretty interesting. We'll keep you posted on the situation here as more information becomes available to us. This has been live from the atltf 2017 build off staging area...

Can we please start the contest? I'm getting bored sitting around with all these ideas in my mind.

We can't yet, I'm not ready with the video yet....

Contest starts on 1st Feb

I'm joining the build off this yr with a great design and almost all custom build. The only thing that won't be custom is the body and frame I'm using. Im using two mowers for the build to be combined into one crazy machine. Yes it will have a transaxle and a horizontal engine. Project Murrlen is the name of it. I been drawing it out and taking measurements. Can't wait to get started.

I got my pile of stuff sitting here about to make my video. I ain't telling how I'm doing but I'm gonna be doing alot math and everything but the frame will be custom built. Hahahahahahahaha

Just over 2 weeks left. I was worried about snow covering my parts pile, but if this crazy weather keeps up I could get entered sooner.

Haha yeah well ill probably have to go dig my parts out of the snow.

Yall can keep all that $n@w and !<e.    Two words that may get one in trouble in my house.   
Any way it might make a good photo.  Honest that's a  mower and parts under that all that $n@w  

I would also like to enter.but my machine is under the snow.plus I have no part yet.

Also. How much modificationshould have to be made to qualify?

Need a enough so it's not just a repaint and some stickers. Or if it's an older machine and a full restoration that also has ben acceptable. That's a bit of a vague answer but I don't pay attention so..... Best to enter at the start of the build off with your plan and list as much stuff your going to do as you can. Then just see if you get qualified.

I do have an ipod that takes video... but I dont think its very good. Itd be like one of those videos, all you hear is the wind, or the person walking with a grainy image.

As long as you can show it working thats all. DOnt need to romp it.

Rules are being finalized. Will be up this weekend.

It will all be announced at the start. But you make a thread in the buildoff section.

Build off video/atltf 2017 promo vid is still in the works...but progress has been slow. Getting there. Also plans for my personal 2017 build off entry may have changed slightly.......

It's here! It's here! Bunch of people made the video this year, moose, prancstaman, stretch, rainbowboxer, the ohio off road crew, tractorheads resto mod, baja sears, and the simplicity adventure edition. I made it kinda short and no....I didn't put much fire in like I wanted to, but maybe later in the season I will just do an atltf promo vid with less build shots and more action shots. Anyway, thanks for the help and all that to people who are in the vid or otherwise. Build off is almost here!
