2017 Build-Off Discussion

Theres 105 active members?

So, any reason there wasnt an email sent out to let people know to vote? I got one from another forum for their buildoff (8 finishers over there!) I was thinkin that might be a good way to remind/interest people who might not pop in much. Maybe rekindle their passion.

What was the subject of that email? I did not see it.

It was "Cast your vote for the 2017 All Terrain Lawn Tractor Build Off!", it should have come from the noreply@atltf.com email.

I see its not showing up in the archives, anybody else get it?

Yeah, I do not see it. I have that address in my contacts so Reply Notifications come in and not spam. Hmm....

I googled it, says sometimes their servers back up. Might drop in the next day or so.

Between getting married. Fixing a house to sell. Then Wife ended up in the hospital 3 times for 2 weeks to a month at a time. But good thing is the parts pile is still there for the next one LOL

im about to start another build. where are the instructions for the next build off?

Rules for 2018 Build-Off are being tweaked now.  The next year build-off will be announced and will start Feb 1 2018.  I know I am fighting myself to not do too much as there is a 50% rule.

I'm still working on '17... well '17 is in my way and I am trying to clean up the shop so I can pull the truck in at night. All this bending over to pick stuff up off the concrete is kicking my ass. I do have alot of parts for '18 rounded up, and alot left over from '17. I bought alot of stuff I didnt use because I changed my mind or what I bought wasnt what i thought it was. I have a dozen battery boots that are 3/4 x 3/4 that looked like full sized boots in the pic with no size listed. It is about time to check the BMI cart website for year end close outs. they have some good stuff cheap in the "clearance center". Their shipping is kinda high so I buy a bunch of crap I think I will need. Not sure what I will do with 4 steering column supports I bought last year, but I bought 'em for $5 each and i got'em if I need 'em. I got a bunch of adjustable steering shafts with U-joint that will come in handy.

I got the ATLTF Voting notification e-mail earlier. Guess that means it worked! Haha.

I still have not seen any emails about voting. I get one every time some one comments on this thread, so my email stuff is good.

It is gonna be just as WTF as the last one, only alot easier to build, I aint starting from scratch on this one.
