| my grandparents house where my mower lives and i work on it. the terain vares bue is mostly rough roots and new eingland rocks. there are some small inch deep mud holes. there is a water crossing i need to get photos of that i want to try and would chalange the best mower on this site mostly because of the ground clearance needed. when my mower gets runing again im gona try to throw my chains on and go in the snow. what tuerns into a small mud pit when we are not in a drough. the field that is freshly mowed before it growes in the woods up hill on the western part the same woods but on the shooting range | |

| I have like 18 acres to play with, but most of that is fields. There are a few cool 'mud pits' that appear when it rains, and there's also a stretch of disused railway with lots of trees growing. Will get some pics next time I'm down (and it's not dark ) | |

| Sorry for the low quality image but here it is. Out at my friend's farm this is a field that never dries out (They combine it in January and leave ruts). Its the thickest black muck you'll ever find. Four wheelers only get through with speed or 4 wheel drive on. | |

| Nice! There is a spot behind the house that has been wet for a while. I'll try to get a picture later this evening. I have been tempted to give it a go with Li'l Red. | |

| Good thing that I didn't just go jumping into this spot. The water has gone down enough that I found cinder block chunks in the bottom of one of the pools of water. I've already been romping some on this land. Here is the first pool, the one with the blocks in the bottom. the second pool looks inviting and clean of debris.

| Always smart to look first could have cracked a transaxle or blown a tire. The second water hole looks fun. How deep are they? | |

| First hole with the blocks appears to be about 10 inches deep with water. Second is about 4 inches deep. I was waiting to hit them because I knew the first one was deep, just wasn't sure. Now the water has settled and cleared I can see to the bottoms. | |

I learned the hard way that you can see the bottom but that doesn't tell you how far you'll sink that mud could be an inch deep or a foot lol only one way to find out | |
