| I'm not a fan of stacks because I don't like the look and it will break off if you roll over. A straight pipe out under the fender or out of the side of the hood or out the back above the transaxle, depending on your tractor. | |

| As someone with a tractor with a stack, It's cool looking, but outside the garden, it can get in the way. Low branches, obstacles and roll-overs would not be your friend. | |

| Also, depending on the stack height, it can cause the exhaust to blow in your face and be quite unpleasant. FearlessFront changed the stack off of his diesel sears because the exhaust was blowing at him. i would do the pipe down and dump it under the fender, or take it straight out the back. or do a straightpipe exiting through the side of the side panel, if there is a side panel. whatever you do, make sure you keep water out of it if it is pointing up, make sure you make support brackets, and it should be longer than 6 inches. those are the rules i always follow. Some people say length doesnt matter, but i go 6 inches just to be safe. | |

| I personally like a straight thru exhaust exiting out of the foot board with a lovely 45 degree angle on the end. Hope to be putting one on my Westwood. Just personal preference though. | |
