MTD off-road build (Mobile Terrain Dominator) "1"

I tried priming my fenders last night but I started running out so I couldnt really get the whole thing done properly.



I just got the important spots and tried my best with the rest of it, I'm just gonna go ahead and paint it anyway hahaha. Should be okay.

I did end up painting the fenders though.






It dosent look too great cuz I didn't wire wheel it, but it'll do I guess. We're having a little mud run thing at the farm on the 27th and having a bunch of people over for it. Gonna have a barbeque and what not afterwards. So I want 'er to look nice and pretty! Haha

Some paints right now don't need primer.

Well the fenders are pretty much done now. They turned out pretty decent, I like having the deck lift lever hole patched up now as well.

Yeah haha, I have one on my tool chest and one sticky tacked to the front of the bass drum on my kit. It's still on the paper because I wasnt sure if I wanted to keep it there.

Hood and fenders look good. Painting the frame or rims?

Thanks mighty! Probably no mods, especially since I'm trying to get it ready for Sunday. Seat suspension would maybe be nice, but it would conflict with my utility rack. So I'm gonna save myself that headache hahaha.

Well I did a bunch of painting today, starting with my outer 3-link rods.







Needed something that stood out haha.

Also I had a change of plans with the colour of the hood and fenders. Instead of a gloss bright red I did a burgandy with more of a satin finish. I also decided to paint my chassis while I had everything apart, I went with a gloss black for that.






Looks much better in my opinion.

And here's the finished product!









I love the way it turned out, she looks bada$$!! Hahaha.

I did take 'er for a little ride today and got juat a little bit of mud and dirt on 'er.





It all washed right off and never hurt any of the paint, so that's good. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt gonna strip it all off hahaha.

You done screwed it up. Better clean it up and repaint.

Dont be fooled, those are just her work clothes. Hahaha

I think you missed a spot there.
