| Hi, On my Westwood tractor the clutch is on the right hand side. Would it be easy/possible to swap it to the left side?
Thanks, Matthew | |

| No. Clutch needs to be on the right hand side, where the slack in the belt is. If its on the left, the engine will fight the clutch rendering it useless, and it will slip and go nowhere. | On most tractors the clutch petal is connected to a 3/4"/5/8" rod underneath for all the clutch linkage to connect to (should be obvious to see underneath) I figure you can weld a extension off that and make a new petal on the left side, or put in a new rod with the petal welded to it and make arms off that for the clutch linkage but thats a little more involved. | |
