| I was wondering if anyone had a trick for separating peerless 820's. I have two of them and every time I take them apart and work on them I can never get the sides totally separated due to the reverse chain and shifter levers holding them. Is there a special trick to it. It ain't a huge problem leaving them together it's just a little easier without them connected | |

| Just knock the shifter shaft thru the hole in the case. The shift fork is holding on to the gear selector. | |

| Thanks. I've done that on other ones before to pull the gears out. Don't know why I never thought to do it on these to get them apart. Will do that next time. | |

| Yup exactly what 802 said. My first one had me dumb founded because my 930 case just lifted right off lol. Just a little pressed on clip on the shifter shaft and push the shifter shaft thru the case | |

| Depending on what its held together with, it might comer off hard.
Dont forget the bolt in the middle of the case.
Gears should stay put, but axle may come out with the top because of the bearings.
Takes a bit of wiggling but its easy peasy. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures
