Not lawn tractor related but too good not to post. Talking engines with somebody at my work and we got to talking about the old 427 continental flat-head 6s. I says “yeah they’re good motors but they’re prone to dropping valves or burning valves.”

It’s a flathead, rusty…lol!

Gotta love this kind of ingenuity… PTO wires bread-tied to the steering shaft… No comment.

When I went to get the oil plug out to change the oil on this new stamped frame I got, I stood on the wrench as per usual when I pop one loose and usually they come right off. Idk what happened, but the wrench snapped right to pieces.

This was a 200 dollar death machine, went way to fast, steering was way too sensitive, it flipped at any decent speed, the tescumseh was completly ungoverned, it never died. Pullstart didn't work, just wrapped rope around old pullstart thing. was a big fail, the seat wasn't mounted and other things like that.

It actually originally had a toilet on it, I believe it broke or was too crude to really drive anywhere.
