Poulan Rally Machine, 250 mile trip build #2

Well here I go, I am Ariens YT11 and I am going to take my part in this:

My build is the second build for the 250 mile trip that is going to be taken place in Goshen County, WY. For my friend and me to be able to do this, we need to work hard. Good Luck Craftsman1998!

Things this is gonna get;

820 swapped.
New rear tires. 25x10R-12

New bearings in the front hubs.
Steering tightening.
Headlights.
Tail Lights.
Blinkers.
Added LED lights.
Horn.
Updated 4-link front suspention.
Front Fenders from Murray GT.
Reinforce the Chassis.
1" hitch reciever.
1" hitch & 1 7/8" ball.
new belt clutch.
new exahust.
ATV rack
Dual Gas tanks on trailer...
Modify rear fenders.
Nerf bars.
Disk Breaks, or drum breaks.

no they are my rear tires, I'm kinda getting tired of not having a diecent tractor with tires that hold air in the rear tires. plus then I can mock the 820 into the poulan.

Well guys sorry I don't have photos now but I have the 820 in the tractor and it was literly a bolt on setup.
Only thing I need to redo is the shift linkage, and I need a break disk for a 820 if somebody has a spare one that they could donate.
if I can get a photo to load I can show what the new tire I have that is detailed on the tractor.

To be honest it was, but I was soo late in the game I didn't have a chance, but now I have some sort of a chance because I started at the start.

in the photo this was just a mock up with the old 801 in there.
I have yet to buy some pipe so I can do my 2:1 exhaust on the tractor so if I get two 1" pipes next to each other do I need a 2" pipe for the collecter?

next thing I have to ask is should I think of a oil cooler for my Vanguard?

for a gas/brake peddle you could use the old hydro peddle forward for gas back for brake. You get what i am saying.

I like that idea but the backwards part doesn't allow alot of leverage and its allready has a clutch/break pedal I'm gonna use for a P break.

I plan on getting a nurf bar around the foot wells on the tractor and putting gas and the brake next to each other like how a car is setup.

Addition to "to do list"

New front tires and rims 10"
new front axle with new 4-link setup.
bigger disk break mod for 820. (working on that idea)

Don't forget ear protection, sure straight pipe sounds awesome, but after 250 miles, it'll be rough

agreed on the ear muffs lol or some sorta muffler cause u dont wanna be trying to get to 250 mile trip and have the police called every 10 mins from straight pipes so id try to work in some sort of muffler for the build just as pre-cation u know lol

I think on my tractor im going to have a straight pipe going out the back with some exhaust baffle on it to quiet the noise then when the trips done ill just pull the baffle off.

The way the exhaust is going to be setup won't be too loud and the route we are taking has farm trucks that have glass packs and no mufflers. Same with big vtwin bikes that will be louder than my vanguard will ever be.

Also I forgot the 50 coal trains a day blowing their horns I think the route with noise ordinance won't be a problem.

okay guys I don't have the photos uploaded tonight but I decided to put a old tire on so I can run around the yard on the tractor.
