lawn tractor at monter jam

At this moment I am sitting at a monster truck show and had a thought, what if instead of the usual atv/dirtbike halftime show, a lawn tractor show with races and stuff. Any thoughts????

Actually, I attended a small monster truck show a few years back, and if memory serves, they DID have an exhibition lawn tractor race. I'm struggling to remember who hosted or sponsored the show, but yes.

I think there needs to be a 24 hour lawn tractor race somewhere. Rules are, need to finish race with same frame and engine block as you started the race with. All other parts can be swapped. Each tractor must have at least 2 drivers. No driver can drive for more than 4 consecutive hours. Can call it the ATLTF 24. Like a 2-3 day event. First day to get things set up and explain rules and what not. Then start the race. Just need somewhere with a lot of room, because 24 hrs on a short course would get boring. People whould have to chip in to rent some transponders too. No one wants to count laps for that long. Either that, or every lap the driver needs to stop and put a mark on a board for his team, with someone keeping an eye out for cheating...

I think your getting a little off topic but it could be fun but I think you have too many rules about the deivers

Off topic, maybe maybe. You could have a monster truck event included somehow, I just come up with the ideas, you guys are supposed to figure out all the fine details. And the driver rules are just for safety. People get too tired and wreck into stuff.

More on topic though, I wouldn't mind seeing more mower related stuff around. Kind of a one off kinda thing, but it's neat to see something different once in a while.

I mean it would be cool but more like an obstacle course would be better with a mud pit, rock pile and strait away. It would cover all of the reason we make these lawn tractor

Sounds like lawn tractor enduro cross. Need to have a rock pit, water hole, a couple of logs, chopped wood pit...That would be pretty neat.

ya, 24hrs around a track would get boring, if we do the enduro we would get to have the tractors do every class in one awesome event

One problem is that members are spread few and far between having one event Would have vary few members show up
