| well, i revived a long lost soldier today, and remembered why it was out in the woods. It is my 2004 Huskee mower, that 'needs' a starter. now, in the winter, i couldnt get it to turn over, not even with a truck battery. so today i go out, fire up our toro 20 horse walkbehind at about half throttle, and jump the huskee right to the starter- how i used to in the fall- and it fired right up! i couldnt believe it! so i drove it around for a while, abusing the crappy FNR as much as i could. then i decided to dig out the mower deck. went on like usual, in under 5 mins. mowed a little with it, then threw the bagger on and mowed the dog pen. it runs good, but it wont idle, it 'burps' so to speak, and the muffler rattles to hells content. i think it has a broken or loose baffle inside. from a romp last fall | |
