As yall know, I have a 98' Ram 1500 sport. I replaced all the u-joints this weekend, and its still clunking, we put it on jackstands and put it in gear. I can hear the clunking very prominatly in the rear axle, and could feel it on the diff. So we pulled the diff cover. The oil that came out looked like never sieze lube.
in the the case, were several teeth. 2 are from the pinion. one is from the ring, and all the metal bits are from the spiders. everything is all chewed to hell in there. The axle is a Corperate 9.25, with 3.92 gears. i Would like to change it to limited slip when i rebuild it. ontop of an LSD kit, anyone know where i could find a gearset for it? or if anyone has one they'd be willing to sell? Thanks guys. any help is appreciated. just wanna get my girl back on the road.

What ratio do you want? A ratio that is numerically higher will give you quicker acceleration and better towing performance than a numerically lower one, but decreases fuel economy. Just in case you don't know a ratio such as 3.73 means the drive shaft going into the differential has to spin 3.73 times to spin the axleshaft once.

Yukon Gear & Axle makes good stuff, this isn't a 3.29 but it is a 3.21 http://www.yukongear.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=5657
and here is a lsd http://www.yukongear.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=9643
No idea how much these cost (probably to much) but here you go.
