| WD-40, nylon bristled brush, and a lot of repetitive motion. Before: After: Brake cleaner and a nylon brish would prolly work too but WD-40 worked best using my method IMO. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Propane torch or map gas torch. Then scrub with a brush
Don't use chemicals like MEK. It builds up in your liver. You eventually suffer liver failure, usually later in your life when you understand more, but it's too late. Not a good thing

| That is EXACTLY why you wear the appropriate PPE. I use industrial grade solvents for work (not as much as I used to) and have learned. Oh boy, can you get seriously skrewed up spraying coatings reduced with MEK without the proper gear. It's amazing I can still construct a sentence. | |

| It might not be the right way to do it, but I use some carb cleaner and a wire wheel chucked up in a drill. It's all gone in a few seconds. | |

| Is the head off? If it is I use brake cleaner (I put that sh1t on everything) and a wire wheel on the end of a small air dremel. If I don't have a dremel I just use a wire brush and brush it with brake cleaner then wipe it with a rage and keep repeating until its nice and shinny.
If the head is on you can use Sea Foam or Ac-Delco Combustion Chamber Cleaner and follow the steps on the bottle...

| I use a little wire will in a drill. A good kinda soft wire. Cause hard wire will eat the aluminum off And meas up the decking of the block. wipe it will paint thinner and use the wire wheel and drill for a good while. The rewipe and looks almost brand new! | |
