Hey guys here is my progress lately with my tractor new here on the forum, been running this mower for 3 years now on my 2nd mst 206 trans never broke the diff(heated and welded good) just wore out the bushings after 2 years and boomb.. i use to have a 12hp tecumseh ohv with a custom jbweld intake port work done by my buddy vinsanity (its an animal), now running a 19hp 31cube briggs ohv single stock with a 33cube intake manifold, 28cube quiet series engine cover, i am running a flywheel with the big magnets and a single wire stator with the 2 wire v regulator(this setup is made for a electric pto mower so it can run some rad lights) 19hp nikki carb got a walbro to mess with 2 but the nikki is working great! i now have 20-10-8 rear tires off a john deer rider and 4.8x8 tiller tires up front, also have 16x6.5-8 carlisle x-tracks on rims.I had it up to 36 mph yesterday after i got out of work on a 2-1 drive ratio (7" pully on engine 3.5" on trans)not nearly topped out.. after about 3.5 miles trans was really hot of course, i was thinking of using a shrouded fan pully i have from a hydro to try and help.. the hood is curently just stuck on need to make brackets and moddify my dash..im running a braided throtel cable with this nifty end that fits perfectly into the throtel shaft will post pics! it works flawlessly. everything on my tractor has been parts from 3 or more diff tractors to make cost as cheap as possible and keep it a tractor!!! soon to install a 2.8 gallon gas tank out of a troy built rider i got!

Hacking my old fenders up got a fender off a older craftsman that was getting scrapped at my job there were 2 so i got 2 sets of floor boards and hacked them up to my liking to fit also making front mud gaurds next, did this all with a crappy flux core welder, modded the sifter handle lowered the seat and fenders about an inch or more the engine is mounted farther up on the frame to clear the clutch with the 7" pully relocated stock spring for more tension, The muffler I got is off a kholer twin it was a side pipe looked sweet but I wanted to go compact so I installed it in the stock location goin to runn it out the back with something to quiet her up.

Eh, they look much worse than they are. After a little sanding they should look good as new, ish lol.

Not too bad (the rotors)... chuck em up in a drill, and run some oily sand paper over them. I have knives that have been lying out for years unfinished that I need to do rust removal on too LOL

Good luck on the build, and keep us posted

actually, salty vinegar removes most of it with a wipe... Let it sit in the salt and vinegar for about 20 minutes, then take a green scotchbrite pad to it... wash and rinse in water... Leaves a dull grey finish.

With those Snow-Hog tires on the front in picture #5 it looked like a pure Mowron style rally mower (sorta).  Looks awesome dude.  Nice mower!

Got a little hairy when the unbalanced tires started to shake a little around 35

I think it would look really awesome if you did the snowblower tires from the first tire picture on the right, and put them with bearclaws on the back.  Those snowblower tires look sorta like mini bearclaws.

I like the craftsman snow tires a lot. I like a skinny front tire because seance it's 2wd you want the least amount of rolling resistance. They don't float on top of terrains too. Nice romp!
