Got started, planned, thinkered, planned some more and cut and partially welded the rearfender/ brake mount. I was first gonna have the brake facing the back, but after a mockup and the testing it didnt really fit there, so now it will be mounted on the top of the disc.
Kinda like this when done.

somehow I need to sandwich this flat stock (Brake caliper holder) into the square tubing. Who said I had no fab work left.
After that I hope the sprocket and chain is around the bend, so I can get the Peerless 700 bolted down.
Still thinking on how to: do the steering column / Dash. I can't do a full width dash because then there is no room for the NOS tank and battery box/ Electronics stash.
More to come, maybe a vid later...

Struggles of a mini build! I mocked up mine a little and ended up scratching my head on where the battery and fuel tank, it will work but just a struggle of something that isn't a big issue on a full size mower.

Yea welcome to the Jungle. I'm sure you'll see it's not that easy, further down the road also. ALOT of adapting and keepin it tight together.

This is how I vision the steering column to be fabed. - tho the angled square tubing on the other side cannot have this sway, because this is where the NOS tank will be placed - also it's not to scale, the original JD210 steering wheel is bigger than my drawing one.
So the top mount will be a cut in half wheel hub, ballraced to 3/4" BB and welded to square tubing, down to a 1/2" never used socket thingy like a u-joint in chrome vanadium, I would prefer steel, since the chrome vanadium is so friggin hard, but it'll work for steering. then down tot he other half of the wheel hub, ballraced with 5/8" bearing. VOILA NO SONG!

The steering wheel is gonna literally be in your crotch.. dont hit the brakes too hard..
Yes and No, like I said its not to scale, meaning the column and steering wheel should be bigger than the photo. - So the steering wheel will sit higher up, but not much so yeah lol
Here's a new video with me blabbering about the rear fender, and whats next. And some promised shoutout's

Sprocket 54 tooth and Carrier and 5/8" - 9 and 10 tooth sprockets with a 3/16" keyway slot for the 700. - And YES, each in one cardboard box as different shipments, from Ebay's new Global Shipping system, lol
But the 54T is almost 9 Inches across, doubt it will fit

keyway for the 700? Are you cutting your own keyway? Im going to end up having a 20+ T 700 sprocket lol
Yea I plan on doing that, but it might change. - And I think I need a 40-48T rear sprocket, (Since I want speed and not to do wheelies), but difficult to find for a #41/420 chain size and the correct ID.

This is the reason why I lowered the Peerless 700 mount.
Crouded
And if you can't tell, I ended up using the other brake disc, that came with the caliper.
I've ordered a 40 tooth sprocket, can't use this other one.
With a 40 tooth and 10 tooth on 16" Wheels @ 3600rpm, im at 42.8MPH This is with the Peerless 700 excluded. Plan on using a 15 teeth sprocket on the 700, then im @ 62.2MPH @ 3600rpm. But the peerless will change this alot so, time will show.
