I have a Craftsman mower with a bad motor and a Kawasaki Bayou chassis complete with no motor. Anyone considered or tried to put a mower on a chassis? I'd like to do this, any ideas? I've got a set of hub adapters and a set of 32 in tires on 15 in rims. Since the Kaw is shaft drive would i have to chop it out and go live axle like a chain from the trans to the axle? Make the rear solid or use a chain tensioner and keep the rear flex?

Should work out nicely, Chopperhead did merge or use ATV parts for his build.

Anyone tried this ? I look at the Kaw chassis and think i can use the steering with a rag joint but may have to chop the chassis because it looks too tall.
