| The axle half-shaft? I think it would break, if not bend. There a hardened Metal and when you weld it it isn't as strong | |

| It works. Trust me. Back before my ATLTF.com days, I fixed a statesman that did that. it ended up snapping the case when a rock busted the bottom of it off.. | |

But that's a grass cutter, I wouldn't want a axle snap at 21mph. | |

| The Bolens lives again. Cut the old axle out the diff, and welded in a new one. He was out doing snow donuts just fine. Played on ours some, but TRB's starter/battery was giving us fits. | |

| Well it didnt last long being unbroken.. I let Chris ride it and BOOM! flips it. Breaks off the exhaust. Thank God the engine is fine. So I just threw on some stock pipe from another engine since it fit and didnt interfere with anything. I will build a new one, probably tomorrow. Here is after the wreck.. Pipe I threw on just so we could ride, we were pulling around a sled.. Then started on the front bumper. Had some bumper my grandpa made a while back for his quad i think and cut the ends down.. Welded two pipes on it so i can weld them to my mower but ran out of weldeing wire before i could finish. So more pics tomorrow!! | |

| Hate to say I told ya so on that exhaust... anything that sticks out like that should be braced. Lucky the block is OK. | |

| Got a picture of the bumper installed and one of the new exhaust as well! This is a staged pipe I got in a trade a while back that was just laying around. Cut it and welded the flange where i needed it. Clears the tire by just a hair at the full turn but i rarely go that far so its all good. | |
