| Hey guys. Well myHH120 is still defunct. But, I have new symptoms! I've pulled the motor out of the tractor, and I've been trying to pull start it. And it will give a big kick, like valve timing. Is there a way to visually check it by taking the head off? I took the head off, and it appears to be opening and closing at the correct times. Also, it's leaking oil quite a bit from the main crankcase gasket, as if maybe it's been opened before, and the "opener" ripped it? Also, this is what I mean when I say the piston is deformed and scorched: The head also looks like this. Any idea why? Thanks, BM88 | |

| Crap that's not what I wanted to hear.
I can't take the muffler off, it's modified, and welded in.
Do you know how this would affect the motor's performance?

Do you know how this would affect the motor's performance? Its not sucking in as much gas and air, and when t burns it doesn't get rid of it as much. compression test?

| It's got 100psi of compression, and plenty of vacuum (I had a rag stuck in the carb, and it accidentally sucked it right up!). | |
