It was cracked, whoever was riding on this when it broke had a fun time lol smooth now. welded all the cracks, and from the backside too. Im digging this ride hight. Feels good. once i get tires i can set front and back axles....

That's like one inch wider than a stock frame and about ten inch shorter? I wonder how small we could make one, with a V-Twin or Opposed and still being safe.

| Depends on what you define as safe. I know racers have a mini mower class but there all the GX with a torque converter-LAME! and have Gobs of money for nice rims/tires ect. lol. So with what im throwing at mine im not sure how it will handle, but it cant be bad if i do everything right. | |

I didn't know that you were worried too much about handling. I thought hot rods were just supposed to be fast and look good! I think you'll survive. Are you going to try to use the hood?

| New game plan with this thing. Im going to enter it in the DIYgokarts.com buildoff. I plan on making a custom front axle, and i think i found the perfect tires. These are 4.10x3.50-6 (monster tire i know) and are 12" tall. i might do this or do 14's. fronts are 9" just need 5/8" bearings for them. This shouldnt be to bad. i got 6 months so maybe half the time building and other half tuning? Who knows. | |

The tires should be the least of your troubles in the build , does the V-twin engine's require a wider frame in the front? Or maybe it's just to make it easier access to the exhaust ports?
