|  Subject: what belt size should i need  August 3rd 2013, 12:30 am | |
| im new to this im doing pully swap it had 3 inch on front and 8 3/4 inch on rear stock belt for the ford lt8 from what i found on the web is 84inch. pullys just came in today going to start puting them on tommorow im going to 5 3/4 inch in front and 2.25 inch in rear i should i just take away the differcne which would be 4inch or do i need to take moore | |

| Just take a guess.. if it dont fit take it back anf guess again.. or buy a few belts tthen taje the ones back that dont fit.. | |

| take some rope and put it through the pulleys like the belt goes and make sure the clutch is in. than cut the rope or put tape where the ends meet leaving it a little slack. and that should be your length | |

| Take a piece of rope and run it around the pullys and tie it off then measure it and get your belt.  | |

Depends on your distance the two pulleys, and the Vari-drive pulley. | |
