| locked rearend 25's front and back... put the front tires on ford festive rims and they bolted on my quad hubs:) 2 inch lift in front and 4 inch lift in rear still have to get a starter and wire up my motor and get a belt then she's almost done as far as getting it driving! I have the front bumper almost done and ready to put on.. then building a rear bumper with a reese hitch and i'll probably get my exhaust done today... 3/4 to the running boards then over to inch and a half to 3 and 1/2 inch chrome tips. similar to my old tractors exhaust | |

| Good morning , to you and your FrankenHorse project. I was looking for earlier posts of the build and couldn't find them. My project looks very similar. I have tires like you put ,on mine. But what kind of trans axle did you use and did it have the variable drive before you started. Mine is a MTD, but looks almost like your ride. I left my stock rear, but did away with the belts and just used the lever and clutch drive for the set up. Everything was aligned up. Mine is only 2 speed with reverse. The best I can tell it is already posi trac on the garden tractor I used, because the axle is soolid and goes all the way through the case. If you want check it out It's the Mtd ,handicap utility build in the off road section. I like your build good luck. | |
