The build has been changed into a different style mud mower and has continued into a different topic, this mower broke the axle, making it un-repairable and the case's on these Murray's don't exist anymore for unknown reason so I can't make it work, so I have gotten new parts and am building from the ground up once more.

If it's an 820, cases are easy, I must have 2 or 3 of them laying around. Bought from mower junkyards, craigslist, and ebay. Average price of 60 bucks.

Do you have a 820-018 case? I need both bottom and top, also the shifting mechanism including ball and spring, mine didn't have on so I rednecked it so it shifted, lol.

My point is all of that stuff is like 150 bucks, that's the cost of anew peerless 820-037, so i'd rather get a new one and take my chances rather than replacing parts and it maybe work.

Any 820 case will work. I have the stuff to build the cases into trannys, so they are not for sale. New is 150, and that is the way to go if you can't find a used one cheap.
