Post them Q & A's about your Opposed Twin here!

I can start off by asking,

What is the bolt size for the keyed output shaft? Can it be 7/16 - UNC?

None of the one I had fit.

It may be 3/8" or 7/16", ( cant remember right now) but you're looking for a UNF thread, not UNC.

I bought 3/8" today as i thought it was correct, it went right through/ in. And oh is it Fine thread, I will get a new bolt tommorrow.

Exhaust is 1/4" UNC tho?
And Exhaust port center should be 3/4" Pipe threads.

Thunder, the output shaft takes a very specialized bolt. It took me a few weeks to find one. You need a big hardware store, not just a homedepot or anything. Good luck.

Not really specialized, but yeah and it was 7/16 - UNF, that's Fine thread, since you guys operate with UNFine and UNCoarse Thread's Smile

We have a very good store for bolts and fastener's. But they normally sell in bulk, so it cost me loads to buy only one. Thanks!

Wel... Yes and no. It's not a "specialty thread" per se- just a UNF machine thread. Dirt common in north american machinery. However, you're right insofar as that bog-box hardware stores tend not to carry UNF. When I need them, I usually hit up a proper industrial fastener store like Brafasco.
