| I have a 1998 snapper with a briggs 16.5 v twin over head valve mods are: Mikuni gold carb, custom snorkel, smaller gas tank, lots of weight loss; no rear fender, hood, or blades. What can i do to make it lighter? | |

| Lighter? That's a new request. You could try cutting out pieces of the frame that arent needed. Also, where ya from in MN? | |

| Build an all aluminum frame - delete the steel rims for some aluminum ones - dimple dies are a good investment.
When you can't get it any lighter then its time to increase HP. | |

| Remove the deck hangar hardware if you havent already. Anything dealing with the deck can go if its not in use. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Don't sit on it, this could potentially drop 50lb------600lbs from the mower itself. On a more serious note, perforate and unnecessary structural plates, also aluminum plate parts as well. | |
