I'll start 'er out. So today was my first time driving with a trailer (got my permit a month ago) and it was a 24 foot gooseneck stock trailer with my dad's friend's horses and my dad's horse inside.

Not quite a starter trailer lol, but they are easy to back up the longer they are. when i go 4 wheeling i trailer my quad so i got a good amount of experience with a trailer.
My dad made the box trailer. its a 4-8ft inside, he made it from scratch in the 90's i guess. all genny arc welded and all was cut with a hack saw. id like to make a beaver tail trailer that i might be able to make a stake bed with removable sides.

I'm going back to the hospital in 3 weeks to get the braces off of my hand and leg. Also starting P.T. on Monday. Don't know how long it'll be till I get around to actually doing something productive again.
This sucks...

I agree on the longer trailer part. Baby trailers are so hard to back up. The closer the trailer axles are to you, the harder it is. First one I pulled was only like 8ft.

Accidents that hurt bad but don't kill you are supposed to remind you to be careful the next time. If it's not a pain, you wouldn't remember. You'll be going again sooner than you think.

Hope everything heals fast for yah bud, just make sure you listen to the doctors, they usually know best. But yet again, dont push yourself either. I dumped my bike and broke my collar bone, On x ray it was only a hairline fracture, and a week or two later it was declared not a problem. So the day I got back from the doctors I immediatly hopped on my bike and went for a ride around the field. It hurt, but it was fun. My shoulder is giving me issues now (soreness, locks up, snaps, cracks, pops...rice crispies ) but anyways, make sure you ease your self back into using that arm to prevent future issues. Good Luck

Best of wishes for you. Didja see the video yet? I kinda wanna see what happened
I wanna get a walk around of my bike in the video. So gotta wait till the snow clears up so I can get my video camera and hobble out to the garage. Video itself was nothing much, cam broke off when we hit so 50% of the action is my cam rolling down the hill.

Well, when you can't sleep. I find that we should yanno, step back to the basics.
YOU WILL NEED:
1 Heavy rock 1 Pillow 0 Brains
STEP 1: place the pillows in a line 3 feet away from you're legs STEP2: take said heavy rock and hit you're head with it STEP 3: if step 2 failed you, grab bigger rock.....remember size does matter occasionally (take that what ever way you want)
VOILA!! instant sleep remedy even the youngens can enjoy
