Your engine is sideways! You will just go around in circles! Lol...
Nice fab work on the exhaust. Going to need a couple of braces for the long one.

hey, if it lights on fire, maybe i'll get toned out for mutual aid.. "lawnmower fire" lol. if you think its gonna be a problem, just get a thin piece of metal and stick it in between the head and tank. or maybe insulation on the tank?

Well ye haw im the 4th person on the forum to break 1,000 posts. Yea, i post to much.
Anyways, i made progress on the mtd today, mounted my gas tank, car horn, back up beeper, and fuel line.
Gas tank barely fits. its the shroud, barely makes contact with the steering rod, and barely fits width wise in the console. , its nice to know that i got the biggest tank that can fit tho, i just have to hole saw my hood and make new hood pins, no biggie.

I had one of those two cylinder motors off a craftsman. I saved it for a while, but didn't think I would ever use it so I junked it. Bad mistake... Exhaust pipes sound good. I guess it's not all that much heavier than the old motor. Doesn't seem to effect the leaf springs does it?
