Can any one tell me any thing about this trans? Is it crap? I am building this one up for my 11 year old son to ride around, so its not going to see any major abuse. The worst it will see is some mud (nothing major) and some water.

Thanks guys.

Its a hydro, so you cant really do much with it. Pulley swap is pretty much out of the question, maybe some slightly bigger tires, but thats about it.

Stock speed is fine for him. Tires will be a bit taller. Just wondering if will hold up.

It should hold up, but I cant say for how long. The little connectors that attach the pump to the drive gears have stripped out on me before just mowing. Also I dont think you can lock up hydros differentials as they can be a pain in the ass to get to.

You could use it for a while. but I would have a geared one just in case.
