| Do you have a long narrow piece of straight metal? Or 4' long contractor's level. That can help line up the pulleys. | |

| Time for an update, I got everything mounted lst week, and drove it like hell....till I killed my clutch. That's my bad for running a 1 to 3 ratio with a supposedly stock based clutch. In other news, I got a buyer for a go kart frame that turned out to modify go karts at his shop....and after 30 minutes of talkng about karts I got a summer job. Plus, I may have just gotten maybe 2 engines for a normal lawn mower. | |

| From what I've read. Your clutch can't handle your gearing. You can downsize your tires or upsize your pulley/sprocket. | |

| @mtd no clue yet, the guy has yet to get back to me @chopperhead yeah, I upsized the driven sprocket, and it has a 75 tooth now, but ima keep the old sprocket, kinda for off road and road racing, and I'm more than likely going to get a new clutch that actually has bearings nstead of a crap bushing. | |

| I'm running a Hilliard Extreme duty.
It still has a bronze bushing. and changeable weights.
You might be able to find a needle roller bearing to replace your bushing, but not likely. And if you did, lubrication is the key. Any bearing you could find would have to be lubed. no one makes a sealed bearing that small. Its Technically Difficult. ( actually, no one does it since its too expensive, not needed, and stupidly expensive.) The best thing is lots of grease on the bushing, but take care to keep grease fron slinging off on to the clutch hub.
It will take some practise to use it properly,
And weight selection is key, for the engagment RPM to make best use.

| That was interesting. I googled brisker clutch, and the 9th link that came up was this thread.
We are getting noticed. It was only a minute or 2 between posts, and the google bot already had it.
But I didn't finda anything usefull.

| It's a clutch that has a zerk fitting on the bolt for the end of the crankshaft....your suppose to drill a 1/8 hole in the crankshaft so you can grease the clutch really esily | |

| Yup found it. Standard CVT setup, differnt box.
Would work good with a FNR trans
Got to remeber, low revs no movement. they work on revs too.

| You won't be able to crawl along, it will be a "gas it to go" setup.Which is OK if all you want to do is go fast | |

| Yeah, I've gotten a little criticism for not using a CVT on it, I just don't have the room or the patience of putting one together from all the odd parts from a series 30. | |
