whoo hoo 24' build off time! Its gonna be a slow build because I have two jobs but that might actually help me get er done, so thats . I'm calling this build athe Susqvarna because I can use a few letters to change the name plus it's going to be a full suspension build using a aws rear 5speed transaxle and the stock frame I'm going to attempt to make legit A arms and for the front I haven't decided I might butcher a kids quad for aarms

So far I'm fixing up an old peerless 920 for the tractor just temporary to iron the tractor out before I add suspension. because I kinda want to start with independent front before I do rear because steering is a challenge for me. I have some spare meaty tires and john Deere rims I also have a jd wide front axle I might mod a little. But anyway I split the case tonight while at work lol. I'm adding grease fittings and if I have em some bearings in the provisions and I might weld the diff and build diff braces. but anyway I'm building this axle for temp use lmao

I found out regular old low speed bearings from tractor supply fit in a 920 and apparently it was factory filled with graphite and had no gasket of any kind sealing it so im going to leave the factory goop in it and just add marine grease and rotella 15w-40 to make a nice slurry in there and seal the ol thing with gasket maker

Graphite? Probably what's known as Benotite grease, it was pretty common in Peerless transaxles. 920's are decent and your only going to use it temporarily? What the heck is really going in it then!? Lol
Hehe temporary use because I'm going to build full suspension it's going to have IRS and IFS I've got the design planned out I just need money and time but as soon as I have one of those I'll get er done it's probably getting china quad front suspension with custom irs using a aws transaxle as a diff

Waiiiiiiiit a second… I think I know what you’re thinking for that IRS. Are you gonna turn the steering assembly 90°? I can’t believe that hasn’t been thought of yet. That’s genius.

@Murraymountain that may work too I don't see a way to make it work but I was just going to use the main hub because I can step down the holes from 3/4 with bushings and add heim joints and just make Arms and use cheapo u joints to make axles pretty simple really or I was going to make one beefy control arm with a built in wheel hub and ignore the camber. But anyway I'll just leave this here.

More parts collecting today! I had a spare 15 minutes at the end of the day and pulled an oil filter spacer from a scrap engine with an oil cooler attached, to feed the spooly boi

Well unfortunately, plans have changed directions, because of issues with the Husqvarna, someone ran into it in my backyard and I got pissed off and my buddy hauled it off after we parted it out, didnt get pictures because i was mad, but i managed to trade a different mower for a mint lt1000 thats actually more buildable and im going to use the Husqvarna parts to build it so i guess i need to rename my build or re enter the build off,
