*name changed to offroad gasser* Welp im building my 1993 Craftsman finnaly i have some before pics some stripped down pics and some pics of current progress. everything isnt even bolted together the motor needs a ton of work and ive got my hands full. And i havent decided on anything major yet im just seeing what can be done what cant and its kinda in a testing phase i need to make a better name for it too. So basically i cut the frame rails off of the 93 and welded them to a newer chassis just to strengthen the frame and use the modern steering.I have a 25hp vtwin that was used to try to convert to side shaft it didnt end up having oil pressure so it has been almost unconverted. and is currently gonna be put back to almost stock just no govenor. i am considering making a longer intake manifold so i get more torque and put the air filter probably in the headlight bucket.
The goal for this tractor is to be not only a four wheeler but also a rally tractor and its gonna me just in general a multi sport tractor as in the title. Its gonna get big tires but be sorta stock hight with as much front axle flex as i can get and shocks on the front. Its a 5 speed i might swap it out for a 6 speed idk yet. I wanna be able to drive it on the road or through a corn field or over rocky terrain jump it etc. So its gonna get alot of frame bracing if i can to keep it from twisting and transaxle bracing too.

Well heres an idea for the front axle im not a fan of the looks but for performance it would be pretty wicked and im most definately gonna lift it a small bit so i has a bunch of flex. Also i have enough old heims i could probably just make a 4 link

Okay got the steering ironed out steers great. no flex yet it wont for a while. The shifter is absolutely perfect, it shifts like a brand new tractor. The belt system is good it might need refinements, i got the motor almost finished needs a proper throttle and wired. Still need to finish a bunch of stuff but big major things are finished so far and ive got alot more to finish

Down to the smaller issues on the tractor the main hurdles are over now its small technical things and bracing stuff. Also it has had a successful maiden voyage runs great steers great only put it in first and it stayed at idle (no throttle yet) and it does about 8-10mph at idle in first gear. Clutch setup functions and it still has no wiring so thats gonna be fun. I gotta go find my pile of spaghetti.

Shes running riding and reliable! No brakes or throttle yet but she goes down the road and BOY it is waaaaay too fast, perfect! Sadly my reliable little ranger caught fire today and almost burnt to the ground i saved it but a bunch of stuff is ruined and now the poor ol thing is gonna get a new motor its always been super underpowered 04.09.2022

This tractor is almost finished but my other tractor has become more important right now because it runs properly and this tractor needs a new twin and if i get this vtwin from my neigbors then i will definitely finish this build. but right now im needing carb linkages and govenor linkages and my clutch setup needs changed a bit i think i wanna run a newer craftsman clutch. Also a issue im having is brakes and tires because at 30mph the thing is sketchy as can be. Also the tierod is very sketchy i now have the parts to set the front end up properly just the tractors needing a full rework right now
