For anyone interested in going to trailer spindles and hubs, I thought I’d throw it out there that for like $30 (plus you cover shipping) I’ll cut your trailer spindles off at whatever length and bore them to go over your spindles so you can weld them on.
If you’re interested feel free to shoot me a PM. If anyone actually shows interest in this I might make a dedicated thread advertising it, lol.

Considering that I have about 1/8" of slop between the wheel and the spindle, this might be a cool idea.

It’s great! Gives you adjustable tapered roller bearings that will probably never wear out, plus a mess free tire change. I’ve seen it done a lot on normal 3/4” spindles.
I just picked up another Craftsman for $25 with no deck and some missing engine pieces. It currently has a Briggs I/C 14.5 hp and the 6 speed. Thinking about swapping in the 18.5 hp Intek, pulley swapping it, and making a 50mph Death Mower!

@PizzaKitty26 Because it's a big bore 2 stroke (And it's probably more like 38hp and 7000rpm) But my uncle has a 1000cc kawasaki r1 his buddy wrecked I'm thinking about buying, It makes about 150hp I think that could push around a lawn mower LoL

Yeah well I have a chainsaw that I've never used because I can't crank it when the guy who sold it to me can crank it in one pull. In other news, I got the Intek into the "parts" Craftsman". It was just a straight bolt in. Need a starter tho so can't see if it runs.

Oh we're talking about 2 strokes now... that's right my alley! Here's my favorite toy that I bought a several years ago and have had alot fun with, my 1990 Suzuki LT250R! It's been a great machine and is hella fast, it's only needed minimal repairs but I want to tear it down, weld the minor cracks in the frame, repaint it (metallic blue), replace a few bushings and freshen up the top end. I'm sure someone here would love to be on the receiving end when it goes up for sale but unfortunately y'all a bit far away! Lol. It's been the plan from the start to enjoy it, fix it up, enjoy it a bit more then pass it on to someone else while it's still fresh and turn a profit on it.
Basically the same plan for this 1984 Yamaha IT200 I bought in pieces (but 95% complete) a couple of years ago for $300. Between work, chores, cars and tractors I only got as far as painting the frame and doing a few other minor things to it so I need to get my arse in gear already!
I have a big problem in the sense that I have too many projects but not enough time and or money for them all so it's time to thin the herd a little and let the profits from them fund the next project that I can build, enjoy and then pass on and start the process over again.
I can't just keep collecting stuff I need to start getting rid of it too! I have TEN tractors (most run), 2 quads, most of a dirtbike, a 1969 Honda Z50 (yes I trail ride it) and a few nitro powered RCs (2 Savagaes, a Ofna Ultra LX, an original RS4 and a couple more) so as you can tell I have a wee bit of a problem... not to mention the fact that I have thousands of dollars tied up in all this stuff AND I've essentially run out of space for it all.
It's not going to be easy but it's something I really need to get ahead of! Thanks for letting me vent I really needed that! Lol
I dislike things that I don't understand. Like 2 strokes and fuel injection. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET EXHAUST OUT AND AIR AND FUEL IN ON THE COMBUSTION STROKE!?!?!? It makes no sense. It's SORCERY.

@Brianator I've started to catch myself going "oooh look at this it's a really good price and just needs a little work" then I think if I have money to blow on this I have money to fix what I have or get something to make life easier. Sometimes I still slip but not enough to regret LOL
