In other news... picked up a new I mean toy. ...or maybe a moneypit Needs lots of odds and ends, there was no airbox so I got a cheap air filter, and a chunk of heater hose to run from the crank case. It needed a proper fuel shutoff and new line, along with some starter rope to get it running.
Still needs quite a bit, like brakes. Might be handy?

That's pretty cool @TheBeal, is it a Big Red? They're all money pits that's just the name of the game! Lol. A old friend had a three wheeler and it was awesome, it could make it through spots that 4 wheelers couldn't
Hey Im gona die one way or another, might aswell be having fun!
Honestly, Im contemplating turning it into a bike, but dont tell the purists.

Not a big red, a 200M according to the add. Add also said it was an 85, but I believe its an 81 or 82.
Changed the nasty black oil today. Needed it pretty bad, the little metal screen had lots of goopum in it. Ill probably change it again sometime this week.
Its sucking air so I carved out a couple gaskets so maybe it will run a little better.
I'll have to remember that for mosquito season! Lol. It's nice to see that Seven Hundred in action, they're little tanks!
t Holy cow yes, this thing is unkillable, the amount of offroad nonsense that it's been through is incredible. We also may or may not have fed at least 3 liters of sawdust into that poor china clone so it doesn't run the best, For anyone wondering the diesel smoke is far better then the oil smoke, it is 100 times less toxic and the engine handles it way better

Lowballed a seller on eBay not expecting him to accept it and now I’ve got a pair of brand new bighorns on the way! I think these will go on mutt and the bighorns on there now will go to the buildoff wheel horse.

And a Tecumseh transaxle For $50, I've got a Kohler Courage 15 horsepower for $25, a 3 horsepower Briggs vertical shaft for $10, a 1960 Stihl chainsaw a box of toggle switches a golf cart clutch and some flat iron for $85, got two exhaust systems for free, a gun safe for $12, plasma cutter for $90, an air compressor for $40, shop fan for $62, some ramps for $10 a Husqvarna with a weed eating attachment for $400, a Craftsman DLT 3000 for $375, brand new lawn mower blades and tune-up kit $5

Man, all my local auctions and estate sales got ruined after the Covid times, everything goes for crackhead money so it's impossible to get a good deal.

Isn't that the truth...

@Doug every single mower cracked right up, I dug that Honda Out of the Woods I put a fuse in it put some gas in it and sure enough I drove it around the yard
25x11-12? Wonder how the Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 match up with the SunF 24x10-12 Power I's I got for Marshal.
26x11-12, same that's already on mutt, except these have like 1/2" more tread in the center than those old ones do. There's a couple of OH guys I've rode with that have the SUNF bighorn knockoffs and they really suck on rock because of the super stiff sidewalls. My bighorns are about as soft of a tire you can get and still have a fairly aggressive tread. OG bighorns are great performers too, the 2.0 is just a lighter version, which causes a lot of flats on SxS, which is why they're less popular than the OGs.
For anyone interested in going to trailer spindles and hubs, I thought I’d throw it out there that for like $30 (plus you cover shipping) I’ll cut your trailer spindles off at whatever length and bore them to go over your spindles so you can weld them on.
If you’re interested feel free to shoot me a PM. If anyone actually shows interest in this I might make a dedicated thread advertising it, lol.
