I have 2 mtd brand mower that has the fnr transaxles in it and all the information I have gained on them is that an hydro and fnrs is capable of doing that work but not for mudding or hillclimbin but they are well for a hunting rig and just for ride trails but they ain't no good the other stuff. Like mudding and hillclimbin I was going to convert a fnr transaxles for racing and hill climbing an I have 3 fnrs transaxles on I. Converting to a racing and hillclimbin but I will trade all my mtd and transaxles for some with geared transaxles

We have some mower friends up in Louisville, they are usually up to go to a new place, they drove down to blue holler in Mammoth Cave on their own one day. Most of the rest of the KY gang are out past Mt. Sterling. We have a mower-oriented facebook messenger groupchat I could put you in if you like, if you're looking to throw out an invite or maybe catch an open ride.
