| So as all of you know mower batteries are garbage barely last a year. What batteries do you guys use? I think I'm gonna experiment with the 36R from Walmart it has a 1 yr warranty and 540CCAs and it's top post. It's a pretty small battery and it's got a go handle and for the price of 60$ I don't think any mower battery can beat it. Let me know your guys thoughts I don't have anywhere for a battery tray so it sits in my step through on my craftsman. | |

| I've been using Die Hard 10u1L lawn tractor batteries and haven't had an issue with them lasting a few years, I do however top them up with a trickle charger monthly if they're not in use. Other than that I use 51 series car batteries commonly found in alot of older Civics, they're about half the width of most car batteries which makes them fairly easy to find a spot for, on The WarHorse I've mounted it off the back by building a bracket out of punched angle. It keeps it protected pretty well and adds weight out back as well. | |

| I've gotten the 300-360 cca lawn batteries to last a good 5-6 years from Walmart or Atwoods. TSC on the other hand. I'm doing good to get them to last 6 months. We are talking OPPY starting here too. | |
