| so i have had a couple ideas for the front axle i beam, i was thinking of adding a steering stabilizer shock or a sway bar to minimize bump steer and body roll without removing all the front end travel because this will be an on/off road use tractor (because mowers are awesome) also i am considering some sort of a quick remove axle lock so it stays straight on road use but i could pull the pin so ta speak to enable flex for off road.
just curious to see what you guys have done this is a garden tractor not the smaller lae=wn tractor | |

| I started building a fully independent front end but it weighed too much and I couldn’t fit the steering in correctly. Eventually abandoned it and went back with the proven mono link/wishbone front end setup. I think that’s probably one of the best ways to make a tractor front suspension unless you just want to experiment. While ifs might have some advantages, I figure for the relatively low speeds we’re normally at, the mono link setup works pretty well. Allows a decent amount of flex, travel, steering is easy to setup because it’s not a complicated geometry up at the axle. Also simple to build. | |

| @mr.modified yeah i think what im going to do is have a pin that goes the front axle and have it removable so i can have flex for the trail and have it locked for road use. | |
