| Let's try this for a third time because apparently on mobile if you swipe over it deletes your response and you have to start over. I finally got some work done on her I got her running after some stupid wiring mistakes on my part(grounded out the kill wire before the ignition switch) I got my mud flaps on, my foot rest pads, a new support for the rear rack, a choke cable, foot throttle and a hand brake, she just needs a battery the shifter plate cut out, and some skid plate action and maybe some lights and she's done! I'm gonna post this then upload pictures | |

| Just load the front tires with a few gallons of windshield washer fluid, that will keep the frontend down, that's what offroadohio did till he got used to his clutch | |

I've done the same thing on mine. Need to reload my murray because it got a leak and I knocked the bead off and dumped all the fluid then yesterday my friend flipped it over backwards.

| Wow has this build come along way and so have I since I last posted. Since I last left this build off I freshly redid my old reliable the “mud dynamark” this was my 12th birthday present she was mint condition when I got her! 13 years later and boy has she changed. Every build slowly progresses through out the years and so do we. At the time of my last posting this was a bog tractor. There is nothing but flat muddy trails where I have most access to so that’s all I ever needed it for, and then the haspin rally came into my life, and then riding and becoming part of the Ohio Offroad mowers, and most recently the Top Tractor Challenge 2019. This mud mower named the “mud dynamark” has slowly turned into a killer trail machine!
Here is a list of modifications that have been made since last post I will try my best to cover them all, along with pictures -mistakenly painted it light blue the day before TTC19 -18x7-8 sun f front tires -24x11-10 swamp witch rear tires (amazing performance) -custom rock ringed wheels -home made dual muffler exhaust (sounds decent) -removed my side mount brake handle(running no brakes at the moment) - 2”x3”x3/16” rectangular tube custom front axle 2” wider, new reinforced spindles, all grease able joints -front axle moved forward infront of original frame plate(2”-3” stretch) -removed the rear rack and mud flap fenders and replaced them with a pair of oem style fenders -just installed a pair tree kickers -working on installing a new rack
Pictures to follow in next post

| This old girl is gonna need another refresh soon, she gets rode hard and put away wet a lot! Seems like she always wants to be on top of me all the time, and if not me she loves being on top other people too :/. The frame is starting to show its age and has cracks and crack repairs, the motor is tired, the peerless 820 has been on its last leg for atleast two years now. It’s still sporting the haspin welded diff repair from 2018 I believe lol thanks moose and Doug! Lack of working brakes, clutch is getting worn out, and she’s slow. Did I mention the UGLY blue paint?
Here are the goals for 2020 -new motor, I have a 20hp vanguard vtwin that’s been in the shed waiting on a new build but I have picked up a new motor so this 20hp can find its way into her -put a fresh 820 in it. Lock it with a solid go kart axle along with a speed gearset from Roms peerless. The mid range ratio -I need hydraulic brakes of some sort, I’ll figure it out -I need to figure out how to do a dual throttle set up on the vanguard. I want the governor to still work at lower rpm but I also want to be able to rev up past 3600rpms
Lastly I need to decide if I want to keep repairing this chassis or i should build a new reinforced chassis pan and just swap everything onto it

| In the long run, I think you would be happiest building a new reinforced chassis pan. If you were a casual rider like me, I'd say repair. You are not, you ride regularly. I've seen how you ride. You like to give it your all. Build a new frame man! Like you said, this is your old reliable, and it has sentimental value. Give it the refresh you would like and want to give it. Don't hold back man! | |

| @MightyRaze thanks mighty I appreciate the input. There is some sentimental value as to wanting to keep the chassis and just repair it, at that point there’s not much left of the original machine. I have a couple chassis kicking around what I’ll probably end up doing is reinforcing a new chassis pan and then put it way until this frame gets too bad | |

| @MightyRaze yes I could but then that’s more down time, it’s bent up and cruddy. I could do a new chassis pan and swap everything over onto it in a day or two vs having to blow the whole thing apart, reinforce, then reinstall everything | |

| Think I might go back to the maroon before the blue or another variant of a dark red. I dig the blue just not on this build, probably gloss black wheels or silver | |

I think that would be the best option. Less work on you and it'll be around for another 10 years. One other thing I really dig the blue but I don't think it's for that machine. A fresh coat of the old paint you had on it would be the best option in my opinion.

Do you have any more pictures of the custom front axle build? Sounds like a beefy setup. I love the bump stops too!
