She's looking sweet, that blade lifter setup is interesting, how does that work?

The blade has a detent cam lobe, and I reset the notched arch for the blade lever........I have since tweaked it a little by making the linkage all with flat stock and making the lever a little easier to pull.......It works good in snow.....but it is

......i don't know how it ever ran at all with the top bolt out of the varidrive pulley.....

These are all the photos unfortunately, I'd love to see the grille! Best I can tell its a 1986 and has the F/N/R transmission so I think it's safe to assume it has the Vari-Drive also.

If it wasn't so far away from me and I didn't already have so many tractors I'd gladly pay the $200 he wants for it just for historical reasons! Lol

Yep, definitely a Vari-Drive, that lever on the right side is the speed control lever.

I spotted this on the side of road the other day (too far from home to be worthwhile), a Craftsman GT18, I'd like to build me one of these one day!

Very cool! My 2500 peerless has that same caliper. Speaking of which, for all y’all debating about whether a 2300 or 633 is stronger: sorry, 2500s are. lol.
