Finished this part up today for a customer. 1" square hole in 3x3x3 hot rolled steel. Four pieces of 1" square threaded in and clocked to tighten up parallel to the rest of the block. Fun job using just about all the machines in my shop.

I know the rig you're talking about @Double W Cross Ranch , I read and enjoyed the full thread on it last winter! I actually suspect the 16hp B&S in the Mud Duck started life in a 990 (was told it was originally from a tractor) and I used a 990 wiring diagram as a base to make my own!

Really? So I've actually been thinking of taking my 16 horse briggs out, simply because I could get a horizontal shaft oppy in there...and it would have a cylinder hanging out either side of the hood...and it would look soooooo good....

Oh okay. I was wondering because my repair thread is wayyyy too lengthy per page lol. I just counted and if 25 posts is the limit then the next post should trigger the start to a new page hopefully.

Those kubotas are great tractors. We have a really old L235 4x4 with a loader that's been in the family since it came from the dealership where it was a demo unit. It's had a few things replaced over the years but really is rock solid. Such a light tractor with 4x4 is wonderful. Grandad gave it to us because he's gotten too old for tractors without power steering.

I actually finally asked the customer yesterday. It's for upsetting 1" hardy cupping tools under a power hammer. That's his idea, anyway. He also bought a bunch more in different sizes, none with the four handles for tongs though.
After 3 years I've FINALLY found a set of cast Bolens wheel weights that weren't hours away!
I got them for $100 and roughly another $50 for gas and hardware, an hour away from home! They'll go on my Bolens G10 for snowblowing duty so I don't need to hang the tiller off the back anymore and the Massey Ferguson split weights on it now (brand new addition) will probably go on the Mud Duck for (heavy duty) snow/grading blade duty as I have a homemade rear weight box for the Roper 16T which also will be doing snowblowing duty! Lol. I have the blower mounted on that now but need to fab up linkages and service the blower before its actually ready (will update that thread soon enough).
So 2 GTs with snowblowers, one with a heavy duty blade AND a walk behind snowblower that I customed up (8hp/24" cut with a 12" impeller)... yup I'd say I'm ready for snowmaggedon so bring it on!
HOLY CRAP ITS DWCR AND BEAL... I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THE DAY!
Lol glad to see you two back!
Lol, I never really lost touch with Beal, through various group chats and discord servers and whatnot, but it's glad to pop back in here. I do plan to get my 990 working again, as for my other builds, probably not much is going to happen because I don't think I could ever make a mower to top this kubota or my 4wd honda rancher.

This thing weighs a little over 1200 pounds, but it's super impressive. I've been grading the driveway with it and pulling a chisel plow, and I gotta say in 2wd it's pretty worthless, but in 4wd it doesn't even think of spinning a tire, and that's with the rear diff open. The only issue I'm having is the same issue I have with the 6000 pound Massey Ferguson where the attachment isn't heavy enough to dig deep enough. I have 7 or 8 suitcase weights, I think I'm going to weld some kind of bracket to the plow and the grader so I can stick the weights on it, should help considerably.

Ha! We have a ton of weights on our back blade for the same reason, as well as for the fact that the front end loader will gladly pick up the whole tractor if it gets the chance. I have rode that tractor down a hill on nothing but the front wheels before, it gets pretty exciting.
[mod]Attention @Rustbucket Garage! I have successfully moved your post over to your "White Lighting" thread with a quick lesson from our super administrator @MightyRaze![/mod]
Which btw I'm sure we can unlock for you after voting has ended.

Sounds pretty exciting. I've done similar things with a skid loader driving around on just the 2 front tires cuz the pallet was too heavy lol
