Those are sexy! I'm not sure if I'd go THAT far, I envision more of a Thundercar/Super Stock grassroots style backyard built racecar themed deal loosely based on my friends car I helped him build and race. Can't find a picture atm but it's a tough looking car!

I know the one on the bottom was built by @Thunderdivine.

Stupid question from me for the day:

Has anyone ever installed one leaf spring pack (golf cart size maybe) over top of a typical tractor pivoting front axle, so the leaf spring center is securely attached to the center of the frame and the ends are attached to the left and right sides of the pivot axle via shackles?

I'm thinking with the tractor sitting square the spring would be set almost neutral, just wondering and I'm tired.

I have not seen one side to side or remember one side to side.  

@AllisKidD21 and I have use them or parts of them front to back.

Closest I can think is  @Doc Sprocket's Diesel Weasel and his was decor and inverted.

I believe I may have seen a side to side setup while diving deep into ATLTF past but I could be wrong. Give me some time and maybe I'll dig up what has come to mind.

In general, they are excellent little vehicles. My friend here has a gas engine one, push the gas pedal and the engine starts. It is his little car for the neighborhood.

I found @thunderdivine ‘s builds and brought one to the recent list. I have saved all of his pics and videos. Sigh, another project.

If I remember correctly I think I have seen a front leaf spring setup similar to what I described on a golf cart.


I thought it might be an easy way to add some stiffness and control to the front without to much hassle.

Good thing I'm headed off to work so I'll have time to think about it.

booy ive been busy lately my truck took a crap while scrapping so i had to do 45 all the way from the jy to my buddies house and we are gonna stab it in his workshop and figure out why the transmission wont shift out of first we think the tcm got unplugged and if so it should be a plug it back in and we should be okay but i hope we didnt burn the pump out of it its a 220k 4l60E in a 93 silverado 4x4 soo needless to say it been worked real hard its whole life if this fixes it ill get a spare as a backup anyway

NOW, I have seen it all. An off road recliner, looks to be built on a mower chassis. From a video about tig welding. He made a beer holder for the cooler.
