Look at this sassy little tractor its a garden all lambert havent gotten info on it from another forum. considering they look at what ya posted and dont reply to new posters for some reason. If anyone gots any info on the little guy im happy to hear because if not i think imma throw a cheep set of offroad tires and a predator motor on it. I believe its a solid axle chain driven traptor with a belt clutch which sounds fun to me.
That's a super cool tractor, think it would be a waste to turn it into the rip-o-matic no?

If it where to be a ripping tractor i think it would treat it nicely i just was considering using it kinda like a runabout utility tractor for towing trailers and taking throught the woods because my cubcadet is a pile of junk and my other tractors wont have a pull start

Fair enough, I'd just hate to see a tractor like that become a beater yeeter

And i got a trio of free mowers and a 60$ baja mini bike. So my little brother got the hydro lt1000 it came with an oppy and 3 good tires, it was his bday gift from me. And i got me a lt1000 newer tractor and its got an 18hp single briggs mst206 side shifter cast iron front axle 2nd gen steering and it is the ideal setup for a ATLT and i plan to build it so it looks like a offroad gasser with a jeep like flex like my old build off lt1000. Its gonna end up with the oppy. And i also got my favorate craftsman it has an 11hp briggs and the square body front end i have been searching for so the dash and hood are gonna go on the lt 1000. After i take the parts needed from the old square bodied craftsman its gonna get a newer dash steering wheel etc and my buddy is getting it as his first ATLT! So im gonna have an atlt squad lol we have a good property to take em riding on. Also i paid 20 bucks for a clapped out wheel horse im gonna part out. Anyone have ideas on a pull start for a 19hp briggs oppy lol.

Oh, yup just good for parts then Those later model wheelhorses were not built anywhere near as tough as the older ones....
Unless you get them in GT trim, I saw a 314-8 the other week and it looked pretty robust, still not AS robust as the older ones but it looked like a well build unit!
The frankenstein tractor got a 20hp vtwin swap so thats fun it still wont start after a new starter something is binding and imma have to redo the pully system the belt wont slip enough to start it
In other news! The lambert garden all is almost running and driving i have all the components to complete it minus time lol been busy out my butt.

Here yall go i know you guys wanted some nice progress pics of my AMF 1010 aka a massey with a facelift. Currently the nice and "clearenced" gastank is waiting on some jb weld thats patching a small rust hole on top then some sanding and primering then paint. I missed a few spots on the frame with the filler primer, so they dont look as good as the rest but im too busy/lazy to fix it. ive got a million things to do and its been hot outside.
The dash is in really good shape minus nasty paint and it was dirty. so i did some sanding, washed it thurougly and then jb welded the small cracks in it. Then ive gotta sand the jb weld a little later and primer it and paint it.
After the dash is finished i gotta do the hood all the paint has to be ground off and theen gotta sand, and prime it and probably sand it again. The color i havent decided on red, silver, or tan. Im leaning for tan mabye.
I was bored and held up a craftsman foot board to where the foot pans where supposed to be and they fit perfect gotta drill the holes for them to fit. one of the factory mounts was cut that will need to be fixed. Then gotta sand and paint them and, I gotta get some grip tape, and it will look real nice i think. So far im hoping to have it finished soon i wanna take it to haspin acres for my bday

So my current Rig is a beast I've been running, but it's time for some paint I think I am considering the newer Craftsman green but metallic kinda. Or silver I haven't made a decision yet.
My grandpa started to build a lt1000 chassis it has a 18hp kholer magnum he side shaft converted and put a down draft carb he found and made it custom mount.
he mounted the motor with the output shaft facing forward, and he turned the transmission to stand up and he is gonna run a drive shaft to the muffler hole in the frame under the front axle. He plans on using a torque converter and the 6speed transaxle. I'll get pictures when I can.
Other updates: The sassy Massey is put on the back burner due to other rigs needing attention. The Lambert garden all has been sold to a collector in a different state. And my tractor named "Ranger" has been dismantled and stored for a future build. My little brothers tractor is going strong but it needs a new front axle soon.
I'll add pictures when I get time

Is that the rig you’re painting? Not a metallic but I’ve head the dark hunter green rustoleum is pretty close to craftsman green. The standard hunter green also looks really nice.

Well me and my little brother have been playing with the mowers here's his little rig flexing on mine like jeeps do lol. We lifted his today and it fixed his typical Craftsman steering. It's a 17hp single Briggs with a hydro transaxle which is perfect for him. He has fun with it. Also I got a 5 speed simplicity Broadmoor with a 17hp vanguard Briggs single. Its column shifted!!! I love the shifter setup on this rig I plan to do a basic pulley swap and bigger tires and I'm still gonna mow with it every once and a while because of the floating deck which is fulla rot holes Check back later for pics my new phone is too slow to upload pics Lol

Since I have been MIA for a while I figured I'd update here a bit I'm gonna have to add pictures from my phone and type everything on my PC lol so here's a pic dump.
my mower got new(used) tires all around since the last pic made it to haspin it did great other then some bent panels and bent front axle mounts and i broke the brakes (which still dont work) i also added a car battery and heavy duty tiedown before haspin. and i sold the massey ferguson my grandpa adopted the simplicity and we just had to take cool pics after haspin tear down, i made an even bigger lift with heavy angle plate so im not bending anything anymore yep shes got a engine crane built in race mower was a free lt1000 did a transaxle flip and front axle is notched and welded into the frame barely clearing the engine. and its geared to be stupid fast.

Careful on that massive flex on the front axle. I found out the bad way how that works out in fast steering and putting extra weight on the front. My tractor did the rollover with someone else. I almost did a few times too.
Are the wheels of this from a rototiller? How do they perform?
@PizzaKitty26 they are real old gt wheels, they did great a little rough on the road i didnt get in the mud much sadly once i upgraded though it was a whole different tractor, i do not recommend those tires unless your in the mud constantly. and my tractor has later lt1000 steering its all metal and real nice my little brother tractor is old style and i wont build those tractors anymore its a big pain to swap so i start with later the chassis and the old tunnel fits over the newer chassis.
also nice color @MightyRaze i might think about painting mine but i kinda like the rat look. and as for the flex i have rolled it more then once lol but so far its been surprisingly stable. Also limiting straps are real nice for when Im beating on it on the streets or in a flatter area, i just wish i had better brakes. Im really thinking about 4 wheel drum/disc brakes from an atv because its really hard to ride with none.
One thing i REALLY need from this tractor is a rear hitch receiver, because of utility. its not mainly used as a toy actually i used the hell out of it for heavy duty work around my property and town. When im using my crane its not stable, so i need to make better limiting straps and a rear hitch for weights. i also badly need to redesign my crane because it has no support from the sides and its very ugly.
