New Video Up! Took clips of the rractor out of the last one and through it together for a shorter video on the latest mods
Late late last night a welded a 38" piece of C channel off a Murray Widebody lt frame. Very stout. Have to shorten it a little on each side and need to knotch the inner side of the footboards so it side down over it. I'll post more pics when I get that part done. Been awhile since i welded. Can tell on the left side. Right turned out much better. Lol! She holds good though. Happy with it. Just gotta paint it now.
Left: Right: They just sit to high so notching them to lower them a 1 ½" with help. Dont want to take the seat up any higher.

Finish one up. Its stout even though it looks like crap. It'll do the job. 2 photos at the bottom are what could be do to make it look nice but I dont want to fill that area with metal because mud would built up in that corner. Unsure yet.

Winch looks good. Does it have the wireless control?
It doesn't have the wireless controller. Dont really care for them. Lot of good and bad with them ive heard. They like to constantly look for wireless signal and leads to drain the battery. Yeah thanks but I'm just holding it up. Bumper needs made.

I see the scorching. I'm guessing it burned up? Wonder if you can take it apart and restore it?
Worth a try but will it happen again? I was in the middle of adjusting the carb to do 4k rpms and then she went. How long would a new or rebuilt last. Ive heard they dont hold up to high rpms even though the cast iron blocks can. Dongt think there's away to adapt a normal starter to it.

Correct. I would send a video but the forum won't allow it. Has to be a yt video with a link which isn't happening. I cleaned it up on the inside. All it needs a rear bushing but still won't to anything. Its gonna need more then a simple rebuild kit with springs, brushes, bearing, and bushing. Theres other stuff that needs freaking up im guessing.
I want to get a new voltage regulator because that will be the next thing to go bad. Im seeing 6volt and 12 volt regulators online. Which would I need?

3/8" Metal Winch bumper turned out pretty darn good. All that left is to drill holes for the winch, add recovery shackles, back supports to bolt into the frame of the wards, and throw some paint on it. This took way to long to build and grind the welds down. She should hold. Update video will be up later this week. One more thing. Found some cheap 1" wheel spacers to kick them front yires out a little. 42" Front stance and 43" Rear stance wi t h ghe vamps. The rear tsls are 42". Found a used set of 1" spacers for the rear. Picking g them up tomorrow. Vamps rib the fenders a little. Unmounted them yesterday and painted rims black today. Hoping to slap them on the rims tomorrow.

I'm about sick of this tractor. I've gone through starter generator problems, electrical problems, and now the motor isn't getting fuel. I've still got to do a rear rack, a foot throttle, and install the winch.

i know the feeling, there were several times when i was ready to give up and call it quits, but i pushed on and managed to get my entry done, i hope you will too, take a step back, maybe a couple days then get it running again and the foot throttle, leave the winch and rack for after that, if you get the 2 main issues done you won't drop out for failure to complete the build, the rack and winch are just accessories and can be put on after the comp if need be
