I know Todd handed off the forum to @Doug and we have seen online the situation that @Maine Mud Mower is going through.  Hope things get better soon for ya bud.

I know we all have our busy times and new interests!  Just recollecting.

I still have contact with Matt, he's still wrenching on stuff, just not on here. But he was off for about 2 months up until a couple of weeks back, he was working over the summer.

I bet redlinemotorsports MTD would do ok in the top tractor challenge. I've seen video of it on some pretty steep hills without flipping. Only place it would be somewhat limited would be straight line speed as I don't think it was geared all that high.

Legend has it, the machine is mothballed deep in upstate New york............

Did he fix it after a deer hit it going down the highway? If I remember right, he was pulling a trailer with it on it. Deer jumped out clipped his vehicle and nailed the tractor.

Hello! Yeah I'm still alive, sorry I haven't been posting recently. The reason I haven't been very active lately is due to other commitments and the fact that the Westwood is currently sitting outside with the engine partly stripped waiting on getting the valves lapped and a new head gasket. I should have some garage space freed up in the next week and I am planning on getting back to it very soon though so watch this space.

@mr.modified I did offer to buy his machine a year or so ago, he was suppose to contact me when he went back up state but has not yet, wonder if he’s still interested in selling

Mighty, yes I believe he patched the MTD up after the deer incident.

And the simplicity team also had been in negotiations about purchasing the machine in the past. Unfortunately at that time a price could not be agreed upon. lol

I believe the brakes were never sorted out too well. He had a pretty nice looking system rigged up on the input shaft of the transaxle but for some reason the pads wore out really fast. With some brakes and maybe a gearing change it would be decent. Rugged front end and steering and I think it has an 820 in it.

I sold the ol lady 110, and thinking about selling the 210 also... Like redzz said in a video, u get so tired looking at the damn thing.

Yeah, I like the red trim and all, but the background was killing me. I have a fairly bright monitor. After all the holidays and such, I may look into a similar colored background for 2020.

@Thunderdivine you really do just get sick of looking at projects sometimes, and it’s just time to move on to different things, it sucks but it’s how it goes.

@MightyRaze and I do like this color scheme

Im still here Pretty busy, most of being just a weird schedule. Still on that 2nd shift grind which really messes with my free time. Always available on Facebook though if anyone needs an immediate response.

I MAY be bringing up a sore subject yet... I'm a veteran of YEARS past. More than willing to assist people where able (though not in an official capacity, not even thinking that). 34 years of experience, modding tricks and antics in the mower world (this spring) has to be passed on to the newer generations else all those years of mine would be wasted...
