[Rules DQ] - bow tie mud guy's OLD SCHOOL [2019 Build-Off Entry]

im back again this year and i have a new build in mind if accepted , it will be a rat rod style build with a hand made frame rails along with a craftsman yts chassis , craftsman GTV 18 steering , john deer 111 trans that will be set up to take the MST series and spicer series trans axle i will use MTD rear hubs that are 4 on 4 bolt pattern drilled out to 3/4 to fit on a set of craftsman gt spindles , i will custom build the dash , seat , rear fenders , front drop axle and grill . i will build some kind of trunk or bed to hold battery and what ever wiring i can relocate ,  it will have some type of round head lights and tail lights , custom built shift Assembly .!! now when you think rat rod !! you think of crusty rusty metal well not this one , it will have all new fresh paint from top to bottom !!

well i got out today to work on the old school build !! the min i was approved i sat down and sketched out what i wanted to do with this frame , this morning at 10 am i went out to the shop and at 5 pm i walked back in the house done for the day . this is what i came up with today , got the drop axle done , frame rails built , engine mount in , steering plate in , trans mounted on the drop rear half of the frame and a couple supports put in !! some time this week i will get back at it and do some more supports , mount a temp engine to set up the belt and start working on the dash !!

Love it!! That drop axle looks great!! I had an axle like that on my old rat rod tractor and I liked it a lot. Definitely sounds like it will fit your build.

looks like a good start, how are you doing the drag link? I can vouch for something that long, that they are a pain in the butt to turn around, but totally worth it.
