| I used to use the gasless wire because it was cheep and easy. But the welds look like crap and using argon is cleaner and makes it way stronger. I think I may go up to the 80 lb tank so I dont run out as quickly. | |

- Hey Fearless, whens the craftsman crawler gonna make its comeback?
No kidding. I could use some ideas floating around to help juice my idea maker since i am also building a Craftsman crawler. Though mine will be multi purpose, the main OHV park il be running at has tons of rock crawl and 10-25in round rocky uphills. I dont know about the quad trails, which is why im building mine, but thats how lots of the 4x4 trails in alot of sections. Back when i used to have my exo'd Toy truggy thing on 37s, i ended up totally stuck and had to winch when taking the hard lines lots of times. So i definitely have crawling in mind. What do you have in Maine for crawling? Any big parks or anything? When i can start making videos, i want to do all the TSF trails, expecially the 4x4 trails, so i can hopefully have my tractor going up all the big name obsticals that the big trucks are going up. Especially the waterfall and back to back, never made it up those in any of my Toyotas. I think thats about all i have here, but at least im only about an hour from Browns camp / Diamond mill and other such and such in TSF.

- Its looking really nice! You planning on using the rear sheetmetal?
I could, but I'd have to trim it. I'll see how it looks with it on there... This thing is gonna need some serious paint.... But What color??? I think you should definatly put the sheet metal on, it would loose it's 'tractor' look otherwise.
These 'cube' tractors always look good yellow. I've seen a couple on youtube painted like that. Yellow with glack grill would look awesome I think! myolder tractor is kind ofboxey and I like the safety red you can get at home depot. its a nice bright red, I like it a lot.

So I started to make an exaust.
Looking at this gives me an idea. Why not use an even bigger pipe for the front bumper.... and make IT the muffler? So... Use the same brackets and all that, but replace that big pipe with a small cherry bomb intended for a car!
