Jeremiah's Lifted General Lee Mud-Terrain Tractor [2019 Build-Off Entry] *

Picked up a 2002 Murray Widebody GT 21hp/46" for $65. The V-Twin is missing both coils and a starter. I'm going to see if I can get it to fit under the hood but I dont think it will. It's just so tiny. I wish it was a Jacobsen Homelite YT__.

They came with hood extensions for the oppys. Also the murray has a peerless 820 big boy. So pumped about that. Been searching for one since 2016. Took long enough lol. Jacobsen will be very happy with that transaxle.

I love the body on the Murray. Might keep the hood, dash, and finders for a racer. Eventually a racer build.

Heres when I first installed the trans and engine. I was stoked about the engine fitting. Only had to slide it back a inch and a half lol.

Last night I had to drill another new set of holes since I'm running a Vtwin. The Jacobsen is equipped with 3 sets of hole so it can run flatheads, ohvs, and now Vtwins. So to fit this huge thing I had to slide it 2 inches back for jood to clear but I went a half inch to far so I had to cut the frame but I have been wanting to cut that jagged rusted crap off so is what it is. I think it looks better. I have tracked down a starter and coils. Now I found a tune up kit for this specific model engine. 21hp Briggs & Stratton Vtwin model: 407777 but the kit only comes with one spark plug.

Front axle is now cut out of parts quad and stuck in the frame.  Just gotta weld it up. I got RSmotorsport&Fabrication on yt building me some transaxle spacers so I can drop the 820 2"s. Once that's made and installed I can mount 26x12x12 and 22x9x10 Interco Super Swamper TSL/ATV tires. Build the drive system and steering and bolt on the body that's painted already then it's time to ride.

Gave the old solid mounted seat some murray suspension. The springs are adjustable so you can make it stiffer or softer. I'm pleased with the hole set up.

Ordering the Interco Super Swamper TSL/ATV tires tomorrow morning. I'll get the 12" and 10" rims sanded for paint. I'll paint them tomorrow too. Gotta wait until I get the transaxle spacer blocks shipped down from NH and mount the tires before I can figure out how far do I need to drop the front axle so it sits almost level. Heres how it sits now. Frame was painted black after this photo.

Its being put back together with a little modifications here and there. I'm a liking it. Tires have been ordered and on the way.

Should be cool! Hopefully you'll get 'er done in time, still a little over a month left so I imagine you'll be good to go.

Got the fronts and rears mounted and finders lifted a inch + moved forward a inch.

Well it had to go up another inch so now it's got a 2" fender lift. I will need to do inner fender things to make it look better and keep crap from getting on the top of frame.

The Vtwin needs alot of work. Who ever owned that murray before the shop I bought it off or trashed it. It wont be ready for the end of build off but the Kohler Pro 15hp is ready. Heres my progress.

I finally figured out a way to fix the look of the fenders. So the fenders got lifted 2" and moved forward 1.5" so the footboard wasn't lining up at all. This looks 100 times better but the side view looks like crap.

Welder issues. Dosen't run properly. Been trying for awhile. Generator not big enough. So close. Needs a steering set up, wired, exhaust, and the brake linkage / shifter linkage needs extended. Cant be done with out welding.
