Installed some New groove tires on the rear. Went from18x10x8 to 20x8x10 to 20x10x8. This is my sister's mud mower build.

@AllisKidD21 I really appreciate the help and thanks. I agree! They work better than the old tires. This machine will be getting 22x11x8 and 20x7x8 Deestone D929 tires soon.

That’s an AYP, excellent frame to mod. MST206 you said? That’s what I run in my CQ. It’s not bad for general bombing around but I don’t recommend wheelies or ramps lol

Well, I took out 7 teeth in a row on 3rd gear doing a wheelie. That was a 920, but same gearset I believe. Also not good for your front axle, coming down that hard. The front ends are notoriously weak in those tractors, but easy to beef up

@CraftsmanQuad19 ouch. It's got a MST 206 so it should be good. Well it will take longer to destroy. Eventually they will all break on us. Yeah I'm wondering if the cut out hole for the muffler
has something to do with strength.

The cast iron front axes aren’t as bad as the stamped steel ones. Those are garbage. But the frame itself is a little weak right over the axle. On the mk2 I’m welding angle iron along the whole top angle of the frame. And while you have the welder out, on the front two corners of the frame where the two pieces of metal were just bent to make the corner, just weld them together. I’m adding angle iron here too for extra beef but you wouldn’t have to.

@maine mud mower (redneckcomputergeek) did a whole video on reinforcing these frames, may take a look at that

@CraftsmanQuad19 yeah I've already watched the video the day it came out. My frame are all ready weldes in the corners from the factory. On my Jacobson frame I need to weld the corners. I didn't realize he was on here.

I installed bigger fronts, trimmed hood, and installed a wheelie bar rear rack. Also I have a question. Is there a way to edit the title of my thing? Its not a 1997 like I thought it's a early '00s. Thanks in advance.

About a week ago a movie engine up. It was a 2003 17.5 horsepower Briggs & Stratton intek... Original engine. I replaced it with a 2003 18 HP Briggs & Stratton intek that came equipped with the pressure lubed oil filter set up which is way better for mud mowers. I came off of Old Troy-Bilt I scrapped. Also added oil filter and shut off valve.

Oh boy, looks like one of the counter balancer weights sticking out there. Whoopsies, haha. The 18hp should be a good replacement though!

@AllisKidD21 18 horse ran good before I took it off the Troy-Bilt 8 months ago. Took me awhile to get it started once I installed it on the southern States but it runs good now. It's basically the same engine except a half horsepower higher and it comes equipped with oil filter. Yeah whoop see for sure LOL.

@MightyRaze yeah it looks like it peeled the sides of the engine out. If you look closely the throttle plate is actually out about an inch too far.

I love the stance of it now. If only the rear end could be the same width.
