Honestly no, I just don't have the time to collect them, fix & junk them. But I do have a neighbor that scraps everything and will pick it up at my house. I know him pretty well, so its just easier for me to call him up when I get a pile & its gone the next day.... yesterdays pile....

| Do you have any junk OHV single cylinders laying around. The top ends are very similar. I wonder if a rocker and pushrod would work from one would work in your twin. You would need a steel pushrod of the correct length for the exhaust valve. | |

yes I do, not a bad idea to see if it would work, I have a vanguard twin sitting around that is blown to bits internally. worth checking out thanks... the valve guide is sticking out though so I have to fix that somehow

| If they're frozen then I'd just remove the deck and beat the crap out of the blades until they are free, that is, if the blades are trash. I had a rusted out deck that I was just "finishing off" and I started beating on the blades, and wouldn't you know it, they started spinning.
Did it drive? | |

Did it drive? yeah it did drive a little but I was using a remote gas tank and I didn't go far. I freed one of the spindles by hand but it is still rough to turn. The other one was frozen, I can beat them down a little & spray them with whatever & see if it will do any better..... Picking up something awesome tonight I hope.... (yellow) stay tuned....haha,.....

I don't know much yet, other than its in nice shape for a mid 70's machine.... So story is I bought it from a guy who was cleaning out his mom's estate, the house was run down, didn't look like anyone had lived in it for a long time. The tractor was in a garage behind the house its whole life, they were the original owners etc. The lady just got to old to use it and parked it in the early 2000's. Anyone that knows the last time it ran is dead, the guy I got it from used it as a kid. It has another briggs engine for the leaf vacuum that hooks to the back of the tractor which is pretty interesting. I got some other knick knacks and spare parts from the garage. I just ran out of steam last night by the time I got the trailer unhooked. I had to winch the tractor onto the trailer with a come a long, drag it out of the back yard shed with the truck etc. I will try and start it tonight and see what I get (if its not raining to bad) I paid 150 bucks for everything as soon as I noticed it was a original IH trailer, the guy painted it green but it can be repainted white again. Gonna be super hard to decide to keep or sell this.... I already have a 104, 1450 & 1811.

what'd you pay for 'em? The murray is allot bigger than all the sit on top riders I have seen, it does have a big back end I didnt look at the transaxle. You would probably know better than me, but it has a 10.5hp flat head. I paid 100 for the pair, I am satisfied with it since when i put keys in both of them they did crank, because I hate doing electrical work right off the bat. The red murray needs a coil from what i can tell... The green tractor has a plow bracket on the front that I wanted for another machine, I got the starter to start working by tapping on it but the bedix is not lifting up to engage, so i have to pull it off and see whats up. So I am sure i can more than double my money with minimal investment, and I got the plow bracket I needed for something else.

I took a pic of it for you...that is what it looks like..... tonight i picked up some 26x12-12 tires brand new, then picked up a simplicity 17GTH, has a kohler 17hp vertical, with a hydro trans, garden tractor.... paid 50 bucks, not running. Needs fuel pump and belt.
