ok. Well back to the noma. Live axle is going to happen. And i am debating a 13 hp or 8 hp predator.

What do you guys think . 8 HP or 13 HP ??

honestly whatever fits your budget the best. I’d get an electric start.

well the predators, as you probably know are honda clones to the slightest detail. So the honda electric start kits work with the predators. But they are like 80 bucks. i just dont know if thats worth it.

Live axle and horizontal shaft engine? So you mean you're gonna have like a torque converter setup or a cen. clutch or what have you?

Yes i might use a torque converter. But ill probably use a centrifugal clutch.

Here's a couple of clone engines options. You have a point about not getting electric start. You could get more power for your money, but I'd want to run some LED lights as well so I'd need a battery and a charging system which this motor has.

just figured out that the predator ignition kit actually does have a charging coil. Is that what i need to have a charging sytem.

You might need a regulator too, but I don't really know. Is it a one wire or two wire hook up?
